PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Masood Kausar said that the government wants peace in Fata and would take every possible step in this regard.

 

This he said in a meeting with a delegation from Bajaur Agency, led by MNA Akhoon Zada Chettan which called on him at Governor’s House here on Thursday.The governor further said that the tribes are the peace loving people and their co-operation with government would ensure progress and prosperity in the area.

 

Meanwhile, the governor was briefed about the law and order situation and pace of progress on the ongoing developmental projects in the area.Akhoon Zada said that due to the best security arrangements, no tragic incidence occurred on Eid-ul-Fitr in the agency like elsewhere in the country.
