GHALLANAI: Militants blew up two more state-run schools in Safi tehsil of Mohmand Agency, official sources said on Wednesday.

 

The militants planted explosives at the wall of the Government Haji Abdur Rahim Primary School and Fida Muhammad Primary School in Chinari area. “The blasts were remote-controlled and caused extensive damage,” a resident said.

 

The official sources said that Haji Abdur Rahim School was partially damaged while the other school was destroyed. Nobody claimed responsibility for the blasts. The political administration launched a search operation in the area after the bombings. Militants are belieevd to be involved in these bombings and they often claim responsibility for the blast targetting schools.
