LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Pervaiz Elahi said on Thursday that the Sharif brothers had promised a lot about the Nandipur power project yet not a single megawatt had been added to the national grid.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had obtained votes by lying in elections.
Addressing a press conference at his residence, Pervaiz Elahi criticised CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. He said Shahbaz had inflicted damage to both the province and the country.
Pervaiz Elahi said the people of the province were being put through hard times. “Who had thought of setting up a solar power project in Multan,” he wondered aloud. The PML-Q has submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly on alleged corruption of the PML-N in the Nandipur power project.
