Rawalpindi

The City School, Harley Street, Nursery Branch, organised a ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ here on Friday.

Ayesha Tahir, Abdul Moeed and Tafheem Ahmad hosted the event. The stage was beautifully decorated with flowers and in the backdrop ‘Khaana-e-Kaaba’ and ‘Masjid-e-Nabvi’ were painted.

Children recited ‘Naats’ with full devotion and zest and briefed the audience on ‘Uswa-e-Hasna.’ Each class represented itself by wearing different colour ‘dupattas’ and white ‘shalwar kameez’. The colourful environment displayed consistency with the colour codes and presented harmony among the children.

The headmistress, staff and parents offered ‘dua’ with Dr. Azeema Iqbal.

In the end, Headmistress Sumaira Shafiq thanked all parents for their support and the enthusiasm they showed in making the event a success.
