Success of ‘Kaarvan’ celebrated

Students of FAST-NUCES, under the supervision of their teacher Sarfraz Ali Kiyani, worked on a social cause named ‘Kaarvan’. It was primarily an educational campaign and dedicated to the needs of underprivileged children of twin cities. The campaign was designed to encourage the inner drive of the students to complete their education and strive for a better future, says a press release.
FAST-NUCES students arranged an event 'Jashan-e-Kaarvan’ to celebrate the success of their campaign and to share delight with underprivileged students of Mujahid Public School and Ideal Public School. It was first of its kind event on the campus.
‘Jashan-e-Kaarvan’ hosted around 120 students, FAST’s operational staff and the generous sponsors wholeheartedly.The event started off with recitation of Holy Quran and was concluded with giveaways of ‘Kaarvan’ bags containing books and stationery items, scholarships and gifts to the deserving ones.
The event was all about entertaining and arranging fun activities for the underprivileged children. Food and refreshments were also arranged for the kids. The children had once in a lifetime experience.
