Pir Dildar Hussain Shah passes away

Rawalpindi: A known sufi saint of the ‘Qadriya’ lineage Pir Syed Dildar Hussain Shah Gilani Qadri died here Saturday. His funeral prayer was offered at his residence located Afshan Colony, Keep Cool Market, Dhoke Chaudrian and he was buried at his residence as well. His ‘Rasm-e-Qul’ will be offered at his residence at 3p.m. today (Sunday).
The deceased was maternal uncle to the former public relation officer of Senate Faisal Zia Warsi. He was disciple of the well-known sufi saint Syed Waris Hussain Shah. Through his life he spread the Islamic teachings of peace, love and humanity. The deceased has left a widow, some relatives and number of his disciples among the aggrieved.
