Completed at a cost of Rs40 million, a Nursing School was inaugurated at the Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC) dispensary in Sector G-7-3/4.
Performing the inauguration, Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Usman Ibrahim informed that the Nursing School has the capacity to train 100 nurses per year. He said the Nursing School will be introducing B.Sc classes in near future. He directed the joint coordination committee to review the curriculum of the Nursing Schools of PIMS and FGPC and to introduce a uniform curriculum.
“Nursing is a noble profession; the job of a nurse is far more important than that of a doctor. Nursing students must work hard and serve humanity in a befitting manner,” Usman stated.
