The business community, which is in contact with the finance minister, will come up with reforms in tax system till August 30.
The meeting with the finance minister will be held on Friday in which presidents of chambers of commerce and trade leaders from all over the country will take part.
While talking to ‘The News,’ Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Syed Asad Mashadi said the chamber is playing its role to bridge the gap between the government and the business community and trying to settle down the issue with dialogue rather than going on strike.
He said “If we really want to address the problem, we have to solve it from baseline. Going on strike is not the solution. We are trying to convince the business community not to go on strike and wait till August 30.”
“We are representatives of traders but we want to solve all issues through dialogue not with strikes,” he added.
