Workshop held for utilisation of digital library resources

ISLAMABAD: The National University of Modern Languages (NUML) organised a two-day workshop on 'Understanding and Utilising Digital Library Resources' in order to promote authentic research and writing culture, says a press release.
Faculty members of various departments of NUML, Islamabad, participated in the workshop, while teachers of the regional campuses of the university benefited from it through video-conferencing.
While explaining the rationale, access level and usage of digital library resources, focal person of QEC NUML for Anti-Plagiarism Adnan Rashid, who was also the focal person for the workshop, provided hands-on practice to the participants.
The workshop was aimed at deriving strategies to involve maximum faculty members and students towards utilising the valuable premium databases HEC has made available to universities.
While talking on the occasion, Head of Quality Enhancement Cell NUML Dr. Khuram stated that the aim to conduct such activities was to ensure quality of research for teachers and students. He said that this workshop was an effort to ensure zero tolerance policy of NUML against plagiarism.
