CADD secretary visits government schools, colleges

Islamabad: In a bid to get a better understanding of the issues and challenges faced by the city’s government educational institutions, Capital Administration and Development Division Secretary Khalid Hanif has visited different colleges and schools overseen by the Federal Directorate of Education.
Accompanied by CADD Deputy Secretary (administration) Raja Habibullah Shahid and FDE Director General Dr Shahnaz A Riaz and Director (administration) Sahib Raza Hasnain Kharal, the secretary went around the premises to look at facilities, examined staff attendance record, attended classes and spoke to students, teachers and staff members.
He asked the administration, students and teachers about their problems on the premises and assured them that the division would ensure their early yet effective resolution.
The secretary said the CADD was committed to promoting education in the capital, especially its rural areas, and was ensuring provision of all possible facilities to schools and colleges despite having limited resources at its disposal.
He said he would continue with direct interaction with staff and students of educational institutions to resolve issues and challenges facing them and thus, creating excellent teaching and learning environment in the city for academic excellence.
