The Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat has taken strong notice of non-compliance of directives of the Wafaqi Mohtasib by the management of PIMS regarding judicious share distribution between doctors and paramedical staff.
Director General Wafaqi Mohtasib Khushdil Khan Malik who wrote a letter to the management of PIMS had noticed that the orders about inclusion of representatives in the Share Distribution Committee have not been implemented despite passage of one year.
“It is observed that the findings were issued in June 2014 and the Agency (PIMS) has not complied with directions of the Honourable Wafaqi Mohtasib despite the lapse of one year,” the correspondence said.
The director general had directed the PIMS management to issue office order regarding inclusion of representative of paramedical staff in the share distribution committee and submit a report on May 27, 2015.
He has further directed the PIMS management to submit recommendations of the complete committee within a period of one month.
There is sheer injustice in distribution of share from the profit given to the pathology lab.
According to a statement of share distribution for the months of January to March, most of the doctors are getting share ranging from over Rs65,000 to over Rs153,000 while some junior doctors were given share from Rs28,000 to Rs38,000.
On the other hand, each paramedic in BPS 1 to 8 is given only Rs3,000 and from BPS 9 to 16 gets just Rs5,000 to Rs6,000.
The paramedical staff and some doctors have demanded that the share from the profit should be distributed on the basis of pay scale because the government employees get other allowances etc. in accordance with their scales.
