A Special Centre for Autism would be inaugurated at National Special Education Centre for Mentally Retarded Children (NSECMRC) H-8/4 this month for giving special attention to such children.
The centre is being established in the three rooms of the currently available building of (NSECMRC) in which initially 30 children would be facilitated.
NSECMRC Director Ishrat Mashood informed that the Special Centre for Autism is being established on volunteer and self help basis.
She said PC-1 has been prepared for establishing the centre at separate building with proper infrastructure and facilities for students including therapy and medical assistance.
