Special Education Centre, a school for special children, and Pakistan Baitul Maal (PBM) in Sector H-8/4 have been facing blackout as
there has been no power supply for the last two weeks in these institutions after burning of the electricity transformer. The area adjacent to them is also without power since March 18, says a press release.
The Iesco officials had asked the PBM and Special Education Centre to deposit the cost of the transformer and the needful had been done.
However, even then electricity has not been restored. As a result the education of disabled children is affecting and those coming to PBM are also suffering.
The colony of class four employees of Special Education Centre is also suffering due to the power breakdown.
