Schools & colleges closed for spring vacation

Islamabad: The federal capital’s government schools and colleges on Wednesday closed their campuses on account of the spring vacation.
Though they were scheduled to observe the spring vacation until April 6, the Federal Directorate of Education, which oversees them, announced extension in their closure until April 11. Now, the government-run schools and colleges in the city will resume classes on April 13 (Monday).
Every year, these educational institutions observe vacation in summer (from June to August), winter (at the end December) and spring (early April) and on popular Islamic, gazetted and national days.
