Dr Paul Bhatti Minister In-Charge for the Ministry of National Harmony wishes the people of our beloved country a very Happy New Year and appeals to the nation to act in unison to materialise the vision of a welfare state by promoting religious harmony, equality and stability in our ranks.

Dr Paul said that many precious lives have already been lost in our pure land as a result of hatred, extremism and terrorism by a certain violent mindset that are enemies of Pakistan. Therefore, there is an urgent need for all those who love Pakistan to sit together and evolve a unified comprehensive and practical policy to deconstruct the violent mindset of the few who are bent upon creating fissures in peace and stability of our country.

“Let us pray and wish that the coming New Year will be the year of transformation, of peace, prosperity that will bring an end to the raging violence, discrimination and extremism.”
