The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has suggested a collaborated framework to the government of Gilgit-Baltistan to prepare computerized electoral rolls of the province.

 

The suggestion was made to the delegation led by Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah who visited the National Database and Registration Authority on Monday.Nadara’s Chairman Tariq Malik also presented a draft of the contract about preparation of electoral rolls of GB to the chief minister, the chief election commissioner and other delegates for review.

 

The chairman informed that projected adult population of Gilgit-Baltistan is 624,982, while total Computerized National Identity Cards so far issued in this region are 607,880, which depict 97% CNIC issuance coverage.
