Rawalpindi

The employees of Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) have denounced blasphemous acts against Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The employees led by Regional Chairman, Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labor Union, Mian Rehman Ghani, Regional Vice Chairman, Raja Khalil Ashraf and Regional Secretary, Javaid Baloch, in a meeting held here Saturday at Wapda Headquarters, Rawalpindi, appealed to heads of all Islamic countries to get united at one platform and convene a conference of Muslim states for expressing resentments over such sacrilegious films against Islam and our Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

To attack on any religion and make films against them is illegal and unlawful. A large number of employees also called upon the people of Pakistan to express their resentment against such profane films against our Holy Prophet (pbuh), which is their right

but do it in peaceful way. Creating hooliganism and killing own Muslim brethren is not right way to express resentment.

On the occasion, the meeting passed a unanimous resolution, which condemned increase in sacrilegious acts against Islam and Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) over the years, which needs to be checked forthwith in a practical and effective way by anti Islamic states.
