Rawalpindi: Police have failed to recover a newborn kidnapped from the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) on September 10.
A police team was sent to Abbottabad to arrest the suspicious woman, who mysteriously escaped from the BBH without informing the hospital administration, but the address she provided to the hospital administration was found to be fake. Police, having no clue as to how to trace her, booked the clerks of the hospital on the charge of noting down the wrong address of the suspicious woman.
Three hospital staffers — Adeel, Amir and Khalid Irfan — were arrested for noting down the wrong address of the suspicious woman.
A newborn was kidnapped from the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) on Monday (September 10) evening after 12 hours of his birth. Police have taken up the case and started search for the kidnapper, who was in the guise of a staff nurse.
Aqsa Meharban, wife of Mohammad Meharban, hailing from Kalar Syedan, gave birth to her first baby boy in the wee hours of September 10. A woman, impersonating herself as a staff nurse, came to her and took the newborn with her for vaccination, but didn’t come back.
