Special Magistrate Malik Muhammad Anwar has imposed fines of Rs6,000 on two shopkeepers for selling food items at higher rates.
He imposed a fine of Rs3,000 each on Bilal Zaman, owner of Khattak Discount Centre, and Rizwan Ahmed, owner of Furqan General Store, falling in the jurisdiction of Ratta Amral Police Station for selling food items at higher rates.
He warned all shopkeepers not to charge extra money from customers otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
