UET book fair concludes

LAHORE
University of Engineering & Technology (UET) organised a concluding ceremony of varsity’s Book Fair-2015 with a sky-lantern activity at the varsity’s cricket stadium with the theme to read and rise on Friday night.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, UET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, speaking on the occasion, said basic objective of the book fair was to create interest in reading among students and faculties.
At the end, sky-lantern activity was performed by the vice-chancellor and students. Over 3,000 sky-lanterns were released into the air in the night during the activity. A large number of students and faculty members attended the ceremony.
