DG Rangers visits border areas

Director General Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Major General Umar Farooq Burki visited the border areas in Desert Rangers Bahawalpur and Cholistan Rangers Rahimyar Khan and reviewed the security arrangements.
The Director General Rangers attended a comprehensive briefing by Sector Commander Desert Rangers Brigadier Arshad and Sector Commander Cholistan Rangers Col Habib Ullah. After this, they met the troops and appreciated their professional skills and high morale.
Later, while talking to the troops, Director General said the Rangers has a rich history of bravery and professionalism. He added that they, as custodians of the sacred frontiers, are a symbol of national pride and their resilience and resolve against the odds is commendable. He also appreciated their state of operational preparedness.
The Director General assured that the Punjab Rangers will leave no stone unturned towards the fulfillment of its sacred responsibility, spokesperson Punjab Rangers concludes.
