Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that conscious people of Lahore have made successful politics of decency, tolerance and public service in bye-election of NA-122. He said that those doing negative and allegations’ politics had been defeated.
He said that those raising hue and cry of so-called rigging had seen the result of their negative politics.
He said the PML-N success in NA-122 bye-election was the victory of politics of public service and after the result of bye-election, the politics of allegations of so-called rigging in general elections had been buried.
Addressing the parliamentarians, PML-N office-bearers and workers, here Thursday, the chief minister congratulated Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, party leadership, workers and members of organising committee on the success of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in bye-election of NA-122 and added that by the grace of Almighty Allah and public support, PML-N had won bye-election of NA-122 which was prove of the fact that people loved dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said that all development projects were being completed with high quality and transparency. He vowed that corruption, nepotism and favouritism were neither tolerated earlier nor would be tolerated in future.
He asked the parliamentarians, party leaders and office-bearers to spare no effort in resolving the public problems. Addressing on the occasion, MNA Hamza Shahbaz said that good intention had won in NA-122 with the support of the masses and blessings of Almighty Allah.
Meanwhile, talking to the PML-N assembly members, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had played an effective role for the stability of democracy, strength of democratic institutions and promotion of democratic traditions in the country.
Those who met the chief minister included MNA Abbas Afridi, Nadeem Abbas Rabera and Provincial Minister Auqaf Syed Haroon Sultan Bukhari. Manshaullah Butt MPA was also present on the occasion.
Party leaders congratulated the chief minister on the success in NA-122 whereas Hamza Shahbaz MNA run electoral campaign successfully. NOTICE
Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the news about dance party in nursing hostel of Ganga Ram Hospital and sought a report from Adviser and Secretary Health.
The chief minister ordered investigation into the incident and said that action should be taken against the officials concerned and report be submitted.
FOOD: Shahbaz Sharif has said that World Food Day this year is being observed as the day of unity against hunger. He said the purpose of celebrating World Food Day was to promote public awareness for eliminating the causes of poverty and hunger. He said the people who had surplus food should share it with less-privileged persons.
In a message on World Food Day, Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government was taking measures for the provision of food to all such persons as were facing hunger and starvation and implementing such projects as could result in availability of healthy and sufficient diet to the majority.
