The Lahore High Court Wednesday directed Punjab Prosecution Department to submit record of the proceedings of the case against Khawaja Saad Rafiq in an anti-terrorism court in which he was declared proclaimed offender for repeatedly ignoring courts’ orders. Deputy Prosecutor General Khurram Khan appeared in the court and submitted that Khawaja Saad Rafiq and others staged a rally and held a meeting at Lohari gate regarding the arrival of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in 2004. Khurram said that Lohari police lodged FIR against Khawaja Saad Rafiq and others under ATA for creating law and order situation. He said the case is lying pending before a special anti-terrorism court while the witnesses had also recorded their statement in which they had recognised him.
