After creating fear among posh restaurants, food spots and food manufacturers, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has now shifted its campaign against adulteration and unhygienic conditions to middle and lower middle class areas on Monday.
The PFA officials said the PFA teams working in nine towns were directed to shift their focus on middle and low middle class areas. A massive operation was carried out in which Samanabad Town team sealed Subhan Store at Nadeem Shaheed Road for various violations. The team sealed Riyasat Nan Shop and Abdullah Juice Corner while heavy fine was imposed on Maula Sain Murgh Chanye.
Data Town team sealed Haji Billu Karahi at Lakshami Chowk. The team also sealed Shezan Sweets at Chauburji while heavy fine was imposed on Haji Baba Restaurant at Lakshami Chowk.
Allama Iqbal Town team sealed Frenzee Water and Tasleem Samoosa Patti for unhygienic conditions and violation of other SOPs. The team imposed fine on Hajvery Milk Shop.
Gulberg Town team imposed heavy fine on Popunier Store for selling products without expiry dates. The team caught Salt & Pepper Grill for many violations and imposed heavy fine on it.
