FIA Lahore has intensified its efforts against the human smugglers across the province involved in sending people abroad illegally on different pretexts after the strict direction of the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.According to data, the FIA Lahore officials claimed to have captured around 23 human smugglers/agents within a few days after the minister’s directions. Among those whom FIA claimed to have captured from different districts of the Punjab included Syed Hasnain Ali Zaidi and Muhammad Akram from Gujranwala, Muhammad Sajid, Noman Ahmed, Faizan Ahmed Siddique, Ibrar Saqib, Saad Sheikh, Kashif Khan from Sialkot, Muhammad Waheed Qamar, Narowal, Muhammad Naveed Mukhtar, Asghar Butt, Waseem Abbas, Fakhar Mushtaq and Zohaib Mushtaq from Gujrat, Naeemullah and Tasawar Hussain, Mandi Bahauddin, Muhammad Tahir from Layyah and Waseem Afzal, Amir Mehmood, Salman Najmi Mughal, Muhammad Azhar Mughal, Syed Abu Ali Shah and Syed Tahir Raza were captured from other parts. Dozens of original CNICs, medical certificates, passports, Sims, laptops, fake stamps and fake travel documents, etc were also recovered from their possession. FIRs have also been registered against the accused human smugglers and their agents.
