Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Begum Zakia Shahnawaz has said that the entire nation has to face the challenges like poverty, health and education with full determination. She said this while addressing a seminar held here on Wednesday.
Zakia Shahnawaz said that education was the fundamental right of every child which had to be provided him not only in primary but every level. She said that the increase in the population was the major problem of the country; therefore, government was solving it at grass root level. She said that NGOs and civil society had also played their positive and active role in this regard. He stressed upon improving the performance of all institutions. She said that schools, hospitals and roads had become crowded due to increasing population.
Zakia Shahnawaz said that government was monitoring the increasing population and android system had been evolved for this purpose. She said that we have to solve this problem within our own resources. She stressed upon the need of a considerable time period in the birth of children. She said that Islam is a way of life which provides us guidance. She said that government had set up 17 adolescence centres which were providing information to the people. She stressed upon the social empowerment of women.
