LAHORE
PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has said it seems that the government is not sincere in the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) and does not want to control terrorism in the country. Talking to the core committee members and senior party leaders on phone, the PAT chief questioned the prime minister what he did in the last eight months for the implementation of 20-point NAP.
He said terrorism, corruption and energy crisis halted progress while the parliament was playing a resignation after resignation game. Dr Tahirul Qadri said the Attock attack exposed the tall claims of the government. He said senior members of the PML-N were themselves pinpointing serial killers sitting in the Punjab cabinet. The PAT chief said the rulers thought that the war against terrorism was the job of the army and did not consider that the job was their responsibility. He said every person who signed the NAP was accountable for non-implementation of the plan. He said the nation asked where the national revenues were being spent and what was the government doing to safeguard the future of the next generations. Dr Tahirul Qadri said the priority of the rulers was making roads, bridges and Metro Bus service. He said it was very unfortunate that crisis and incompetent rulers invaded Pakistan at the same time.
