LAHORE
The 12th meeting of Academic Council of Virtual University (VU) of Pakistan was held on Friday which approved the initiation of new MPhil programme in the areas in Zoology and Genetics.
The meeting chaired by VU Rector Dr Naveed A. Malik took important decisions related to the growth and development of academics, research and associated matters.
The VU Academic Council also approved the initiation of evening and weekend programmes in different disciplines including MHRM, MPhil in Zoology, Genetics, Biotechnology and MS in Bioinformatics.
The Council also approved the minutes of its 11th meeting held on February 17, 2015 in which launching of BEd. (One year in Elementary Education), PGD in Education, Associate Degree Programme in Education, MPhil in Educational Leadership and Management and Postgraduate Diploma in TV Production was decided.
