Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameer-ud-Din Medical College Principal Prof Khalid Mahmood has said every patient has a right to get medical treatment whereas it is first and for most duty of doctors as well as paramedics to provide patients with all possible medical facilities.
Prof Khalid Mahmood expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Punjab Medical Staff Association, Lahore General Hospital, according to a press release issued here on Monday. The delegation comprised Rana Pervez, Rahmant Sandhu, Ameen, Salamat, Khalid Gondal, Sajjad Khan, Amanat Saghir, Fazal Aasi, Ilyas, Malik Hanif and a large number of employees who warmly welcome the newly-appointed principal.
Prof Khalid Mahmood said if doctors and other staff deal the patients with a smile on their faces, it helps great in healing their ailment. He said doctors, paramedical staff and administration are just like a family and they should also share love and affection with patients and their attendants so as to create good image of the hospital for its visitors.
