LAHORE
Poet Abbas Tabish has said Allah has blessed Sufi poets and their teachings have affected the hearts and minds of people.
Addressing a peace Musahira at Government College Ravi Road, Abbas Tabish said: “Sufi’s education can be delivered in the perspective of peace to our youth and this education would be much helpful to end terrorism. Young students should play their positive role to end terrorism”.
Dr Muhammad Khalil, Agha Ali Muzamil (professor), Mumtaz Husain and a large number of students were present in the Musahira. Abbas Tabish said young people must enlighten their hearts with the teachings and ideas of Sufi poets.
He appreciated the efforts of Mumtaz Husain for organising such a beautiful event.
Agha Ali Muzamil said universities were aimed at preaching knowledge.
“There was difference between our actions and our thoughts and that’s why we were facing problems. We must promote peace and tolerance among youth through Sufi’s poetry,” he said.
