A delegation of investors from Kuwait called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here Tuesday and expressed keen interest in investment in energy, food security and other sectors.
Talking to the delegation, the chief minister said that Pakistan was facing severe energy crisis which had badly affected education, health, agriculture and other sectors. He said the PML-N government had made sincere and unprecedented efforts for resolving the problem of energy shortage. He said that facilities were being provided to the investors in energy sector on priority basis while a highly conducive atmosphere had been created in the province for investment.
The chief minister said the policy of maintaining transparency and standard besides speedy implementation of development projects was being strictly implemented. The Kuwaiti investors expressed their desire to make investment in energy, food security and other sectors in Pakistan, especially Punjab.
