LAHORE IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has decided to provide bullet proof bunkers at police pickets in Lahore. The IGP inspected the samples of these bullet proof bunkers at Central Police Office. These samples were prepared by the Pakistan Army. Initially these bunkers will be provided at 20 pickets of Lahore. The bunkers would be moveable and could easily be installed at any picket. The IGP said a strategy to provide these bunkers to other cities is under consideration. He said after the installation of these bunkers, the police officials could perform their duty without any fear. Transfers: SSP Investigations Rana Ayaz Saleem issued orders for transfer and posting of seven investigation officers on Wednesday. Inspector Muhammad Anwar from Investigation Headquarters was posted as In charge Investigation Manawan, Inspector Irshad Ali from Investigations Headquarters was posted as In charge Investigations Iqbal Town, Inspector Ijaz Rasheed from Investigations Headquarters was posted as Investigation In charge Garhi Shahu, Inspector Taimour Hussain from Investigations Headquarters was posted as In charge Investigations, Rang Mahal, sub-inspector Abdul Ghafoor from Investigations Headquarter was posted as In charge Investigations Garden Town, sub-inspector Muhammad Altaf from Investigations Headquarters was posted as In charge Investigations Nawan Kot and sub-inspector Muhammad Rafiq from Sabzazar was posted as In charge Investigations Raiwind.
