LAHORE Suba Hazara Tehreek (Hazara Province Movement) Chairman Baba Haider Zaman along with a delegation called on PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain at his residence on Thursday and invited him to participate in the movement’s public meetings for making Hazara a province in Abbottabad and Lahore on April 12. Baba Haider Zaman said on the occasion said like other promises the rulers have also forgotten the promise made with the people of Hazara. Endorsing the stance of Baba Haider Zaman, Ch Shujat Hussain said: “We are with the people of Hazara, were first to support making Hazara a province and fully endorse his decision”. He said there was a need for reforms in the present system to control terrorism. He said when the public meetings of Hazara Province Movement would take place, his party would participate in the meetings. On the request of Baba Haider Zaman, Ch Shujat Hussain announced nominating a PML representative in the Sauba Banao Tehreek Council. During the meeting, Ch Shafat Hussain, Shafay Hussain and Mian Imran Masood were present whereas the delegation included Sultanul Arifin, Tahir Malik, Malik Mohammad Sajjad, Sardar Gohar Zaman, Sardar Yousuf, Naeem Ashraf Durrani and Azhar Khan. joins PML-Q: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) General Secretary Rai Haroon Rashid Bhatti called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Pervaiz Elahi at his residence on Thursday and announced joining PML-Q along with his hundreds of supporters expressing full confidence in the leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain. Rai Haroon Rashid Bhatti is the son of former MNA Rai Rashid Ahmad Khan Bhatti. On this occasion, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan, Tariq Zaman Bhatti, Sarfaraz Hussain Bhatti and Khalid Saeed were also present. Rai Haroon Rashid Bhatti said that by granting the status of district to Nankana Sahib, Elahi had changed the fate of the area which would always be written in the golden words in the history of Punjab. He said he was grateful to Elahi for reposing trust and expectations for rendering services to the people in the area.
