LAHORECold and dry weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Monday (today) with shallow fog late at night and early in the morning. A weak westerly wave prevalent in the country is affecting northern parts of the country and is expected to persist for next 24 to 36 hours.

Cold and dry weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Monday (today) with shallow fog late at night and early in the morning. A weak westerly wave prevalent in the country is affecting northern parts of the country and is expected to persist for next 24 to 36 hours. Saturday night turned out to be unexpectedly foggy and the fog persisted till around eight in the morning. The maximum temperature exhibited an upward trend rising to 8 degrees Celsius as compared to 6 on Saturday. The maximum too was 22 degrees. Parts of the country where it rained on Sunday were Mirkhani 13 mm, Drosh 06, Kalam, Pattan 05, Chitral 04, Dir and Balakot 01, while, Kalam was painted white with 05 inch of snow. In the next 24 hours, mostly cloudy weather with chances of light rain (snow over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
