LAHORE
AN Additional District and Sessions Court on Wednesday again sought comments from SHO concerned by January 22 in a petition seeking direction to SHO for registration of an FIR against Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)’s chief and his family members for not paying dues to petitioner for participating in Inqilab March.
Previously, the court had sought comments from SHO Faisal Town but he did not submit comments.
Complainant Hajan Momina contended that she had filed an application before the SHO concerned on January 6 for registration of FIR against PAT’s chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, his son Hassan Mohayuddin, daughter Fatima and Pakistan Awami Tehreek president Raheeq Abbasi for not clearing dues they promised to pay Rs3,500 per day to each woman for joining PAT’s Inqilab March but the SHO did not bother to entertain her.
She said she was a life member of PAT and serving since 2007, adding that PAT chief’s son Hassan and daughter Fatima requested her on August 7, 2014 to gather women from her area to join sit-in.
She said she along with Shaista, Farzana, Saima, Syeda Baby, Amna and Shabana Bibi and several others participated in sit-in. She said they were promised by said respondents that they would be paid Rs3,500 each per day for joining PAT’s sit-in.
She said all the women handed over their ID cards to Hassan and Fatima and started living there over their surety for financial assistance; all the women participated in the revolution march and lived in Islamabad for more than 70 days but no one from the Pakistan Awami Tehreek helped them despite they suffered all difficulties, including police torture.
However, neither they were paid even a single penny nor any medical treatment was given to them, nor returned back their ID cards.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Awami Tehreek had claimed that woman was not the member of PAT but she attached life membership certificate with the petition bearing signature of PAT’s chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on it.
