DISTRICT Coordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal on Thursday paid a visit to Raiwind to inspect arrangements on the occasion of Tabligi Ijtima, starting from 9th of this month.
The DCO Lahore held a meeting with the Ijtimah Committee and assured them that the City District Government Lahore would make all outstanding arrangements on the occasion of Tabligi Ijtimah, the second largest gathering after the Haj. Noor-ul-Amin Mengal visited different areas of Ijtima jurisdiction along with committee members and assured them that this event would be made successful at every cost. On this occasion, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal directed EDO (Health) Dr. Inam-ul-Haq to set up a dispensary near Ijtimah jurisdiction. He directed the Town Municipal Administration to sprinkle water on the land of the Ijtima and conduct a survey of damaged roads of Raiwind and get them repaired as early as possible. He also directed the TMA Iqbal Town to display directional boards on prominent places, so that visitors could not face any hurdles in reaching the Ijtima area. He also directed the rescue and health officials to depute ambulances outside the Ijtimah jurisdiction. Noor-ul-Amin Mengal said the CCTV cameras would be installed at different places to trace out suspected people and to make security arrangements better.
On this occasion, the DCO Lahore stated that traffic wardens would be appointed to maintain the flow of traffic, and strict checking would be conducted at entrances points of the Raiwind City. Noor-ul-Amin Mengal also stated that no negligence would be tolerated on the part of any officials, and strict action would be taken over negligence.
He also directed officials to work for the Raiwind Ijtima under the passion of religious service. “Section 144 has been imposed on the entrance of Public Transport in Raiwind City to avoid any untoward incident.
