THE medical entrance test under the auspices of University of Health Sciences for public and private medical and dental colleges in Punjab is being held on Sunday (today) in 12 cities of the province simultaneously at 9am.
Twenty examination centres have been established. The administration of UHS has directed the candidates to reach examination centres at 8am as doors of the centres would be closed at 8.15am. Approximately 36,000 candidates are likely to participate in the test. In Lahore, three examination centres have been set up at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Centre, Lawrence Road, Punjab University Examination Hall, Wahdat Road, and at Govt Comprehensive Girls High School, Wahdat Road. Islamia University (Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus) Bahawalpur, Govt Postgraduate College, Sahiwal, Shaikh Zayed Public School, Rahim Yar Khan, have been declared examination centres. Similarly, examination centers have also been established at Agriculture University and Govt College for Women, Madina Town, Faisalabad, University of Gujrat, Siddique Public School, Govt Degree College for Boys Satellite Town, (6th Road), Ideal Cambridge School, Govt Postgraduate College for Women, (6th Road) Rawalpindi. Due to the flood, examination centres of DG Khan have been shifted to Govt Degree College for Boys Muzaffargarh and candidates of DG Khan Division were directed to appear in the centre. One each exam centre has been established at University of Sargodha, Govt College for Women, Hassan Abdal, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan and Govt Higher Secondary School, Govt Comprehensive School, and Govt Boys College Satellite Town, Gujranwala.
