Former PML-Q MNA Mian Ahmed Raza Maneka, who had met with Nawaz Sharif on Thursday and expressed faith in his leadership, called on PML-Q leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi at their residence here on Friday.

During the meeting, former MNA Ahmed Raza Maneka, Mian Farooq Maneka and Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga exchanged views with Ch Pervaiz Elahi about political situation in district Pakpattan, apprised him of problems of their constituencies and put forth suggestions for their solution.

Strategy for next general election was also discussed.

On the occasion, Pervaiz Elahi announced giving ticket to Mian Ahmed Raza Maneka for NA-165, Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga for NA-164 and Mian Farooq Maneka for PP-227.

He said that names of remaining candidates from district Pakpattan would also be announced soon.

Reposing confidence in the leadership of Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi, Ahmed Raza Maneka, Peer Muhammad Shah Khagga and Mian Farooq Maneka assured them that they would make concerted efforts for making the party active.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industries Muhammad Basharat Raja, PML Punjab Secretary General and parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly Ch Zaheeruddin Khan, Javed Iqbal Khichi and Nasir Mahmood Gill were also present.
