CHUNG police found the body of a man at a canal on Sunday.

Police said the victim, yet to be identified, had been subjected to severe torture before being murdered. Meanwhile, Baghbanpura police found the body of a 45-year-old man near a college on GT Road.

The police claimed that the man, yet to be identified, was an addict who apparently died of natural causes. Both bodies have been removed to morgue.
