Passengers on suffered as all the local train services in Lahore division were suspended temporarily after the arsonists among the loadshedding protestors set a local train ablaze in Kamonki on Tuesday.

 

A statement issued by Pakistan Railways said the decision had been taken to ensure the safety of the passengers and cargo.

 

The PR GM Operation had already warned of steps if the protestors damaged any railways property.

 

The statement also said that the railways authorities had also sought civil administration’s help to safeguard not only travelers but also its assets.
