PUNJAB University (PU) and Al-Sharq College for Science and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote educational linkages between the two countries.

PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Al-Sharq College for Science and Technology’s Dean Dr Mahdi M Al-Mutawa, Parliamentary Secretary for Health Punjab Dr Saeed Elahi and other senior members were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mujahid Kamran said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed good relations, adding Saudi Arabia had played an important role in promoting education in Pakistan.
