LAHORE: A delegation, led by Google Chairman Dr Eric Schmidt, called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Friday.
Matters regarding promotion of cooperation in tourism and information technology sectors were discussed.
The CM informed the delegation about promotion of information technology in the province, setting up of e-government and IT projects in government departments. Punjab Information Technology Board Chairman Dr Umer Saif and TDCP Managing Director Habibur Rehman Gillani were also present on the occasion.
The delegation comprised Sofia Schmidt, Jared Cohen, Kim Cooper, Dan Keyserling and William Fitzgerald.
