LAHORE

Punjab paramedical alliance action committee on Wednesday staged a demonstration and hunger camp at Club Chowk near the Chief Minister’s House for not announcing service structure of grade four employees.

A large number of paramedics gathered in front of the CM House and enchanted slogans against the Punjab government for not fulfilling their demand despite a lapse of one year.

They claimed that the CM had promised them on May 12, 2011 and then directed the Punjab chief secretary and the Health secretary to notify service structure of grade four employees but, they lamented, despite a lapse of a year not a step had been taken in this regard.

They warned that if the government did not pay attention to their demand they would commence protesting rallies from all the divisional headquarters along with the ongoing protest strike.
