Shahzada Huzaifa Bhaisaheb Mohyuddin, the son of His Holiness Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, the head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, expired on Monday morning in Ahmedabad, India.


Faize Hakimi, a trust administering the affairs of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat in Karachi, said in a press release that the late Shahzada Mohyuddin Saheb’s personality radiated nobility and warmth. He had been serving the community with great devotion and enthusiasm till the end of his life, the press release said.


“As a special representative of Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, for all Bohra Jamaats of the country, Shahzada Mohyuddin Saheb always took keen interest in the religious, educational and social progress of the Bohra community of Pakistan. Shahzada Saheb was respected and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”


It said that he was patron of many educational, social and financial organisations of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community. Shahzada Mohyuddin Saheb’s soyem will be held on Wednesday, January 18, at 1.30pm at Taheri Masjid Saddar and all Bohra Masajid of Karachi.
