KARAK: The Karak police claim to have arrested 65 proclaimed offenders (POs) and also recovered a cache of weapons and drugs.
According a press release issued, the district police arrested 65 POs in three weeks and recovered one Kalashnikov, three guns, three rifles, 20 pistols, 370 cartridges of different bores, 15 magazines and four bottle of liquor, 6kg hashish and 186 grams heroin during search operations and raids. The press release said that the accused were wanted by the Karak police in cases of various crimes. Meanwhile, a proclaimed offender Shahid, resident of Tataki, was arrested by Banda Daud Shah Police Station from Quetta in a double murder case.
