An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday sentenced a convict to 14 years in jail for possession of explosives.
The convict, Inayat, was arrested from the jurisdiction of the Kalri police station on July 15 last year.
The ATC judge pronounced the verdict after considering the evidences presented, statements of witnesses recorded and hearing arguments of both the sides.

Target killers remanded
Two suspected target killers were handed over to the Sindh Rangers for a 90-day period by an ATC.
The Rangers personnel along with their counsel produced Waleed Qamar and Tahir Rasool before the court and informed it of taking the suspects into custody for three months.
According to the personnel the detainees were involved in target killing and other offenses within the ambit of the Anti-Terrorism Act and were arrested from Sohrab Goth and Model Colony respectively. The court allowed their detention considering legal provisions authorising the paramilitary force to detain suspects for 90 days.
