A suspect wanted for numerous target killings was apprehended on Tuesday from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. The operation to apprehend the suspect wanted for killing 34 people was conducted after intelligence agencies were tipped off about his whereabouts.
The man, identified as Hanif, is said to be a Lyari gangster associated with the Shiraz Comrade group. Hanif was arrested upon his return from Oman.
After his arrest, law enforcers conducted raids based on information they extracted from Hanif, and recovered arms and ammunition. The detained gang-member’s brother Sohail aka Sunny is also wanted by the authorities for his involvement in multiple murders, however according to reports Sunny has fled the country and is presently in Muscat.
