‘PAF aware of challenges to defence’

“The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is absolutely aware of the challenges to our defence and are fully capable of defending our motherland and its sovereignty,” said Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force while addressing the convocation ceremony of No 28 Air War Course held at the Air War College.
Speaking to the graduating officers, the Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said the PAF had glorious traditions of remaining focused on professional excellence. “The PAF, in synergy with other services, would continue to play its role in the defence of our motherland, whether it is conventional war or anti-terrorist operations.”
He also congratulated the graduating officers on the successful completion of the course and expressed his confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired at the Air War College would assist the participants to effectively contribute towards the requirements of national security.
Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Pirzada Kamaluddin Ahmed Siddiqui, Commandant Air War College presented the course report. Officers from the PAF, Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy, also from the armed forces of seven different allied countries including Bangladesh, China, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Turkey, also graduated from the course.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking civil and military officers and diplomats from allied countries.
