Woman among two killed in accidents

A young man and an elderly woman were killed in separate road accidents on Monday.
Sadiq Hussain Khan, 26, was killed and his cousin, Muhammad Khan, was injured when a speeding water tanker collided with their car near Dalmia Road. The tanker driver managed to flee the scene after leaving his vehicle abandoned.
Later, the Sharae Faisal police reached the spot and seized the vehicle, and shifted the body and injured to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for autopsy and treatment.
A 60-year-old woman, Rafia, was knocked down to death when a recklessly-driven vehicle ran him over while she was crossing the road near the Phanka Hotel in Shershah police jurisdiction.
