Two of the 14 injured people brought to Karachi from Shikarpur overnight by the Pakistan Air Force passed away at the Aga Khan University Hospital on Saturday.
At least 60 people were killed in a suicide blast during Friday prayers in an imambargah in Shikarpur and 14 had been flown to Karachi due to unavailability of adequate facilities at the District Hospital Shikarpur. One more patient had died while being taken to Sukkur airport for being flown to Karachi.
Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui identified the injured brought to Karachi as seven-year-old Samar Abbas, 20-year-old Komal Abbass, 31-year-old Ghulam Abbass, 22-year-old Muhammad Ali, 35-year-old Liaquat Ali, 17-year-old Sarang Ali, 35-year-old Sanaullah, 26-year-old Haji Khan, 22-year-old Akash Thaheem, 55-year-old Noor Muhammad, 28-year-old Kashif, 55-year-old Aijaz Shah and 29-year-old Ali Mazhar.
He said a few of them were in critical condition.
Siddiqui said 16 relatives of the patients had also arrived in Karachi with them and all possible facilities were being provided to them as well.
